A hybrid tea rose, Gemini flowers in continuous waves over a long season, from late spring to late fall. Borne singly, long, plump buds spiral open into 5-inch high-centered double blooms with 30 to 35 petals and a light scent. The exquisite bicolored coral-pink and creamy white blooms look like painted porcelain and sit atop long, sturdy stems, ideal for cutting.
The tall bush has an upright habit that works well in single plantings and mixed beds.
A child of the elegant old hybrid tea rose Anne Morrow Lindbergh and the strongly colored, heat-tolerant New Zealand rose New Year, Gemini was bred by Jackson & Perkins and exhibits the best qualities of both.
NOTE: Tree and patio roses are hardy to Zone 6 regardless of the rose variety grafted to their tops.
