Plant Lilium ‘Salmon Party’ in very early spring, and in late summer, it blooms in enormous star-shaped flowers with a pronounced orange band and red speckles on petals suffused in blushed shades of peachy salmon and pink. Borne on long, erect, unbranched stems layered in strappy leaves, the extremely showy and spice-scented blooms make excellent cut flowers.
A Lilium orientalis, commonly called lily or oriental lily, Lilium Salmon Party is an herbaceous perennial with a compact, upright, very vertical habit. A great container and garden plant, it is nice as a specimen or massed in mixed beds.
Cold hardy, easy-care plants, lilies grow best in a sunny to partly shady location with rich, organic, medium moist, well-draining soil. Plants should not be allowed to dry out. Mulching will help keep the soil moist and cool. This plant is not pet friendly.
