Campfire is a member of the Cold Hardy Rose Collection as well as the Canadian Artist Series, which features roses developed by a consortium of Canadian rose growers and breeders that are winter hardy across Canada and named after Canadian artists or their works.
A floribunda rose, Campfire flowers heavily in continuous waves over a long season, from late spring to late fall. Borne in small showy clusters, the 3-inch semidouble blooms open intense yellow with pink margins, mature to medium pink with dark pink margins, and fade to cream but maintain their pink margins, creating a multicolored, kaleidoscopic effect. The flowers are ideal for cutting. Just one snip makes a lovely bouquet.
