A foxtail hybrid of E. ruiter and E. isabellinus is the combination that is used to create the bright array of spiked yellow, white, orange and pink colors of the Eremurus Ruiter’s Hybrid. The star cut of these blooms makes for a feathery meadowscape or spectacular cut bouquet from late spring to fall until they go dormant in the winter.
In aerated soil and partial sunlight, the Eremurus Ruiter’s Hybrid Mix will thrive, reaching a width of two feet and a height of four feet. To facilitate blooming, this flower should be deadheaded as needed and pruned in the winter. Soil choices for this plant are varied; however, it does not grow well in standing water.
