Plant Patent Applied For.
This variety is flop-resistant and stays colorful all summer long. With a pleasing and natural rounded look, this lovely plant blooms at the first hint of warm, summer weather. It remains in bloom, covering itself with eye catching periwinkle blue buds of color until autumn arrives.
It reaches 16 to 18 inches in height and spreads out about 24 to 28 inches in diameter. It is ideal for a sunny garden or container. A lovely, minty aroma rises off of the tiny, dark green foliage which refuses to look tired no matter how many times the cats roll around in it!
While butterflies and humming birds are drawn to ‘Purrsian Blue’ for its nectar, other unwanted critters such as rabbits, deer, and other nibblers avoid it because of the minty fragrance. This brightly hued blue plant is an eye popping addition to any garden space, and does well when spaced appropriately and in soil of low fertility. Mulch it in the winter to keep it coming back year after year.
