Hybridized in 1992 with stock including Henry Fnda glamorous rose offers hybrid tea blooms borne (mostly) singly on 16- to 20-inch-long stems. The golden buds open in a high centered/cupped form, revealing fully double blooms with about 25 petals. At 4½ inches wide, these impressive blooms add a bright burst of color to the garden or entryway. The cheerful yellow blooms are as richly colored as an egg yolk and hold fast even in the heat of summer. If cut at the bud stage it lasts much longer than most other roses. This fact combined with the strong citrus fragrance make Radiant Perfume an exceptional gift for cut-flower arrangements.
Radiant Perfume prefers slightly acidic, well-draining loam in full sun. The dark, glossy foliage is exceptionally resistant to diseases like mildew and rust. Water deeply and regularly, bypassing the leaves and watering the roots directly. Provide good air circulation to help prevent foliar diseases. Combined with proper care, the already-solid disease resistance of Radiant Perfume makes it one of the most reliable roses on the market.
