A hybrid tea rose, Stiletto flowers in abundant and nearly continuous waves over a long season, from late spring to late fall. Borne singly, the large, cup-shaped, exhibition-type blooms have 35 deep magenta petals—a unique color for a rose—and a very strong fruity fragrance. Both the color and the fragrance are non-fading, and the sturdy stems are ideal for cutting and display.
Best in western climates, Stiletto is a tall bush with an upright habit of dense glossy foliage and good disease resistance, particularly to oidium and mildew. Hybrid tea roses work well in single plantings and mixed beds.
